Rajasthan Royals (RR) teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi has promised to take his team to the Indian Premier League (IPL) final in the 2026 season. The southpaw was a revelation in the recently concluded IPL season, as he scored 252 runs from seven IPL games at a terrific strike rate of 206. The teenager was also named the Super Striker of the Season for his fearless ball-striking abilities across the second half of the IPL 2025 season.

Suryavasnhi catapulted into fame when he scored the second-fastest IPL hundred against GT, which came off just 35 balls. That knock earned him praise across the globe, and soon, he became an overnight sensation. Reflecting on his tremendous IPL season, the RR opener has vowed to perform even better and take his team to the finals in the 2026 season.

“The key learning is that whatever I did this season, I have to do it better next time—not just better, but twice as good—so that my team makes it to the finals next year. I will focus on how can I contribute as much as possible towards that goal,” Suryavanshi said in a video shared on the IPL website.
