Rashid Khan top wicket-taker in T20s

Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has topped the T20 wicket-takers list in the SA20 Qualifier 1 match between the MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals on Tuesday. Rashid now has 633 wickets in T20s 461 T20 matches. He went past Dwayne Bravo's tally of 631 wickets in 582 matches.

Rashid leading the MI Cape Town side, took 2/33 and played a big role in his team's win over the Paarl Royals. The Cape Town side have also made it to their maiden SA20 final after not performing upto the standards in the first two seasons.

Rashid has so far taken 10 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 21.82. However, his best came in his team's win over the Paarl Royals in Qualifier 1 at St. George's Park in Gqeberha. The mystery spinner took the wickets of Dunith Wellalage and Dinesh Karthik to give his side the edge. David Miller and Dinesh Karthik were the biggest hope for the Royals in the final overs but they could not take their team home.
