Rohit Sharma and Shamar Joseph grabbed the eyeballs at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow before the LSG vs MI clash on Friday, March 5. The two teams face off in an intense clash with all to play for in the clash.
Rohit Sharma did not have the best of starts to IPL 2025. In the first three games he has played, he has scored 0, 8 and 13 runs. He had had one 500-plus season in the IPL back in 2013. Since then he is yet to score over 500 runs in the tournament.
Rohit Sharma's form has been a concern for MI in the last few seasons. He did score 417 runs last year but has started the new season on a very bad note.

Joseph is yet to play a match for the Super Giants in this season's IPL. He might well be back in the playing XI in this match and bowl some rockets to Rohit. Heading into this match, Mumbai Indians are placed sixth on the IPL 2025 points table while LSG are placed seventh. SRH, after losing three games on the trot, is placed at the bottom.
